As a resident of Williamson county since the age of 22, I have spent my entire life dedicated to serving our community. I have spent my entire adulthood serving the public in Williamson County, with more than 40 years in actual funeral service. I have been and is still actively involved in the Williamson County Republican Party, and was recently reelected to the Marion Park Board.  I have also served in my own precinct as a committeeman for over 20 years and was the Vice Chairman for four terms. With your support, I'm ready to take that dedication to the next level as your Williamson County Coroner.

Meet Dave

A Life Devoted to Service:

My career in the funeral profession has been the cornerstone of my life. I earned a degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Service from Southern Illinois University in 1978 and have been serving families in their most difficult times. For over four decades, I've been a trusted name, guiding families through the most challenging moments of their lives.

Family and Community:

Family and community are the heart of everything I do. My wife, Pamela, and I have been married for over 40 years, and we've raised our children here. We're proud members of Marion Aldersgate Church. My dedication to my family and community extends to my belief in active involvement in our democratic process. I stand for community, justice, and progress.

From Funeral Service to Business Owner:

In 1985, I, along with Bob Wilson, formed a partnership creating Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, a testament to our commitment to this community. We saw a need for a modern and caring funeral service, and we built it from the ground up. Our dedication and vision led to the creation of Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, which has been serving Williamson County since 1998.

A Proven Leader with Extensive Industry Experience:

Since the early 1990s, I have dedicated my career to the funeral industry, actively participating on numerous National and State Boards of funeral service. I am committed to improving the profession and have been to our nation's capital multiple times, where I’ve engaged with legislators to discuss the critical issues impacting funeral service at the national level.

I was elected by his professional colleagues to serve as President of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association in the year 2000. This accomplishment I feel reflects the trust and respect that my peers have in my leadership abilities.

Vote for a Compassionate and Experienced Coroner:

With your support, we can ensure that Williamson County continues to be a place where every life is honored and treated with respect. Where the coroners position can work with and also independently, from law enforcement. So that investigations can be done without any potential bias or undue influence. This is important to ensure that justice is served and that the rights of all individuals involved are protected. I ask for your vote and your trust to serve you as your Williamson County Coroner.

Together, we can continue building a better future for our community.
